Colin took up woodturning in1997. Born in England he now resides in Surrey and is a member of the Fraser Valley Woodturners Guild, the Greater Vancouver Woodturners Guild, the BC Wooden Toymakers Society and the American Association of Woodturners. He is primarily known for his amazing open segmented pieces. This work has achieved recognition both locally and internationally through sales and magazine articles. He has also had many competition wins. In addition to segmented vessels he also creates numerous other items.
