Marcy started her artistic career transforming rocks into magical creatures and works of art. Each piece is signed, dated and then sealed with a protective acrylic, allowing it to be displayed indoors or outdoors. A resident of Richmond for over 20 years, Marcy enjoys travelling to painting workshops (especially in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico) to keep her painting styles and techniques ever evolving.
In addition Marcy is Vice President of the CACR and is teaching several of our fall classes.

David worked as a ceramic lab technician for three years and was an employee of Aardvark Clay and supplies in California. This type of experience has given David a well rounded knowledge of both the artisitic and technical side of clay. Very different from what one would learn only from school or classes.
David is inspired by nature, mechanics of the human body and his dreams. He has been a potter and sculptor for six years and as a member of the Richmond Potter's guild has helped fellow members with their projects and was asked to teach a sculpture class as he also does indoor human body sculpture in clay without the need for a physical model.
His pieces have a wide range of style and type and are very unique.
David can be found "tending" to the customers in the Artisans' Galleria during the weekends.

A native Vancouverite, Mary moved to Steveston in 1999. A collector of pottery for years, she signed up for her first pottery class at the Richmond Potters Club in 2000 and has never looked back. Mary is always open to new workshops and information and eagerly applies these to her work.
She enjoys the discovery of creativity and balance through this ancient art form and the many disciplines, textures, colours and techniques pottery has to offer. With clean lines and interesting colours her work is functional and designed for everyday use in the home.
She is the secretary of the Richmond Pottery Club and plans to continue her exploration of pottery for many years to come.
