Artisans' Galleria

We are sorry to report that due to cuts to the arts by the Provincial Government and other funders, we are no longer able to continue to operate this wonderful location.

We will continue to remain open daily until the end of August. We currently have some great bargains, and a BOGO sale for our regular priced merchandise. This will be your final month to purchase fabulous work created by our artist members at reasonable prices.

This was a very emotional and difficult decision for the board of directors of The Community Arts Council of Richmond because we know how important the Artisans' Galleria was to our members, the public and the arts in general. Despite our serious attempts to get funding and or sponsorship during this past year, it did not materialze and so we must close.

We are also selling our fixtures and decorations as well, should you know of anyone in need of fixtures.

We (the CACR) will continue to operate doing our best to create exciting new exhibitions and events and supporting our members and the arts, in the coming years. Keep watching this website for updates on events and you will also be able to view our member artists work which will be available for sale either through us or the members (we haven't quite worked all that out yet).

So check back often as we redefine both our operations and this website, using it to obtain the best results for ourselves and our members. Fortunately, we have a wonderful web guy who will help us through this refinement.
